CASTING OF SLURRY RETAINING WALLS
Base Pile Ltd. carries out shoring operations using slurry walls that may also be cast where the ground is soft or sandy, close to groundwater, or where basements encroach on a groundwater area. The slurry walls enable waterproofing of the car park and reduction of the volume of water that has to be pumped out for the building operations to proceed. This technique also provides for safe excavation in densely packed areas, making the maximum use of the area.
PROVISION OF SUPPORTING GROUND ANCHORS
Ground anchors serve to support the retaining walls, affording protection from ground loads and earthquakes. Base Pile Ltd. specialises in the installation of ground anchors, offering permanent and temporary ground anchors, polymer ground anchors and anchor beams for distributing loads while forming retaining walls from piles .
FOUNDATION WORKS UNDER CHALLENGING SOIL CONDITIONS
Soil foundation operations are carried out by Base Pile Ltd. by means of slurry elements and pile bores of varying diameters, as per design requirements. To prevent collapse of the retaining walls the Company applies the Bentonite and dry techniques that offer an optimal solution for underpinning structures, especially in areas of a dense or challenging nature.

Base Pile Ltd. owns a fleet of 10 modern cranes - digging cranes and hydraulic machinery for excavating slurry (diaphragm) walls by the shovel technique, pile and ground anchor boring machines. The fleet of cranes provides the Company with operational flexibility, enabling it to offer underground infrastructure solutions as an independently operating as well as a head contractor.
