UNDERGROUND INFRASTRUCTURES AS PART OF THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

The first phase of the construction process is to prepare and deal with underground infrastructures. This is where Base Pile steps in with a variety of solutions for handling underground infrastructures - starting with demolition, erection of retaining walls, via excavation of underground car parks and basements, boring and foundation works, up to the setting of ground anchors and lowering of groundwater levels.

Base Pile also undertakes infrastructure works in challenging situations where the soil is soft, sandy, or close to groundwater, being one of the only companies in the country that also sets anchors inside groundwater. Base Pile’s extensive knowledge and experience also enable it to respond to the tough challenges involved with urban renewal projects typified by construction in urban and densely populated areas with unique ground conditions. including sinkholes and soft or sandy soil, or close proximity to groundwater. The Company owns a fleet of 10 innovative cranes providing it with operational flexibility and enabling it to offer underground infrastructure solutions as an independently operating as well as a head contractor.

Over the years Base Pile has carried out underground works for complex projects up and down the country, including the Kikar HaMedina Towers and Alon Towers in Tel Aviv, the LYFE Towers in Bene Berak, the BIG Complex in Glilot, the Phoenix Campus in Rishon LeZion, the Maccabi Jaffa Project and the Data Centre in Petah Tikva .
