To carry out soil foundation operations, the Company employs slurry elements and pile bores of varying diameters, as per design requirements. Where the ground section is unstable, such as for example sandy soils and/or a high water table and the likelihood of landslides and erosion of the bore wall is suspected, Base Pile uses the Bentonite technique to stabilise the walls. The Bentonite solution in the borehole applies hydrostatic pressure to the wall, thus maintaining its stability and preventing its collapse.
