Foundation works using 3 rafts

The project, expected to be completed in 2026, includes 3 upmarket residential towers - two of which are 40 storeys high and one of 37 storeys. The project contains 453 apartments over a 3-level underground car park.

In the site area Base Pile has carried out excavation works totalling 300,000 cu.m. at a daily rate of 1,800 cu.m. The foundation works included 3 rafts restrained by piles of diameters varying  between 1.1 - 1.4 m., in addition to shoring works at different depths from 24 to 38 m. Various 80 cm. thick elements were installed in the ground.

The two central challenges in the course of the work were dealing with a complex urban area and the clay or thick clay soil. Starting from a depth of 20 m. the soil turns into hard limestone or rock, necessitating the employment  of innovative  equipment and a highly qualified team to penetrate the tough layer.
