Server Farm Adjacent to High-Tech Centres
The new data centre complex in Petah Tikva includes a server farm in a two-storey structure standing over two basement levels. The upper structure contains the ground floor, gallery, technical areas, offices, storage areas and a roof at the top with an area of approx. 3,400 sq.m. The two underground basement levels include technical areas and server farms with an overall area of about 8,800 sq.m. The structure provides data centre services such as site backup services and remote backup, cloud IT, control and operation services as required.
The frame construction works were performed using a pair of tower cranes and concurrently with the cellar floor waterproofing operations. Preparations for single-sided walls were carried out in parallel with the casting of the existing shoring walls. At a later stage the concrete columns, structural interior walls and reinforced ceilings were also built.
The data center has been built to international standards, providing electrical power, HVAC, and energy infrastructures for optimal IT and communication operations. The site is manned and video-monitored 24/7, with advanced security systems including sensor-rich setups and biometric controls.
